October is the month of the Holy Rosary and I believe that our parish community has a special connection to Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary.
Before we became Our Lady of the Mountain Parish, we used to be known as “Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Parish.” It is interesting to read through the history of our parish and if you have the time, I encourage you to read it. Please visit our website ourladymt.org and there you will find the history of our parish community under the “Parish Life” tab. Many thanks to Carita Culmer for her hard work in researching our history and compiling it for us to read.
Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, Our Lady of the Holy Rosary, let us continue to pray for our parish community. Let us pray the Holy Rosary regularly, especially this month and in our petitions let us include our parish community’s intentions. I will commit to praying the Holy Rosary every day during the month of October, I hope you will join me in this endeavor and spend at least 15 minutes (the time it usually takes to pray the Rosary) of your daily 24 hours to pray the Rosary. I regularly pray the Rosary but this time, I will consciously offer it for all of you and for our parish community.
Through the intercession of our Blessed Mother, may we all continue to be blessed!
